Me he animado a escribir un poco en nuestro destartalado blog sobre la relevancia del diseño de la información porque el otro día pude leer un tweet de Marta Armada donde respondía así a un tweet de Karina Ibarra sobre textos lorem ipsum en un hilo más que interesante:

@karinai @glorialangreo Yo paso más tiempo creando contenido que diseñando. Y no me pagan por ello :S El content strategy no ha llegado aquí

Y es que el hecho de que te pidan diseñar con textos Lorem Ipsum es algo atroz. ¿Diseñar el qué? ¿Lo indefinido sin mensaje ni objetivo? ¿Qué formato le doy si ni siquiera tiene un sentido, un tono, un énfasis…? Continue reading El copy como diseñador

Trourist, Moleskine and craftmanship

Yes, we know. As bloggers, we are a complete disaster. But today, we would really like to share something we sincerely didn’t expect and made us feel really happy.

Jokin Bereciartu, one of the Trourist team members sent us an email with a little treasure in it. Some months ago we designed a “Trourist special edition” Moleskine notebook. The fact that Moleskine published a post about it amazed us. But the fact that last week they published a wonderful video about how this notebook was made, is simply astonishing.
As you already know: we might behave as grumpy lads, but we are really sentimental.

When we watched it, this video made us think many different things. One of them is that the video is very… us. We also follow a crafted process when we plan, prototype, design or build the markup of a site. Tools may be more modern or technological, but the spirit of the man on the video, when he works carefully on every detail, is our spirit.

We love to feel as craftsmen. We really do.
