Spyro ERP and Planner

A modern ERP that operates at the core of the business

We designed Spyro with the goal of automating and standardizing processes in mind. This enables Spyro to assist businesses in optimizing resources, reducing redundant tasks, and achieving improved coordination among different departments, ultimately resulting in increased productivity and cost savings.

What is Spyro?

Spyro helps companies reach the maximum potential with ERP software that integrates all the areas, processes and data of the organization.

Challenges

The primary objectives of Spyro ERP are to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and offer a comprehensive overview of the organization’s performance.

Spyro previously had an outdated desktop application that required not only a technological overhaul but also a conceptual transformation. An ERP is a substantial system in itself, interconnecting everything at various levels. Consequently, we recognized the need to deliver a seamless experience to power users who engage with the application on a daily basis.

Our contribution

We formulated the ERP concept based on fundamental principles and design concepts that were established after the research phase. These principles included integration, guidance, traceability, and user independence, among others. These principles served as our compass for every design choice we made. While we incorporated a user-centric approach into the product, we remained mindful of the essential processes that underpin the ERP.

This equilibrium is what distinguishes Spyro as a distinctive ERP solution. Furthermore, we delineated a centralized toolset of features that align with Spyro’s comprehensive nature. Elements such as notifications, tasks, and bookmarks were introduced to assist users in focusing on what truly matters.

Highlights

  • User feedback analysis, stakeholder interviews and benchmarking.
  • Design principle definition.
  • A navigation that provides easy access to the different modules and smooth consumption of the information.
  • Visualizations that help making decisions and understanding the current status of the organization.
  • A standarization of the templates used in the whole application.
  • A design system that explains the usage of the components and patterns.

Concepts and principles

Concepts and principles

We established specific concepts and design principles to ensure that Spyro ERP remains a cohesive application that effectively addresses users’ genuine requirements. Documenting these principles provides the entire team with a shared understanding and allows us to refer back to them whenever there is a concern about potentially losing focus.

Visualization

Visualization

Advanced charts and visualizations assist users in tasks such as planning, where awareness of resource availability is critical, and understanding the past, present, and future is vital. These elements enable users to comprehend completed tasks, ongoing activities, and upcoming requirements, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of progress and necessary future actions.

Comprehensive detail information

Comprehensive detail information

Segmented into tabs, all the information required by the user about an entity (like an article, client, provider, etc.) or a document (such as an invoice, offer, etc.) is consolidated within the same screen. This eliminates scattered information, bringing everything close and easily accessible.
